I've been an avid e46 fanatic with a 330ci, but the mileage is high and i got a ridiculous price on my 03 e320. i was a big contributor on the e46 boards (diy's..) and i am looking to do the same here, but i need to purchase some body parts and get behind the wheel first..
we'd use autohauz and pelicanparts for most BMW equipment;
im looking for a hood and bumper and ive found 350 for the hood and about 120 for the bumper,
are there any gold standards for MB body parts?
im also in the market for headlights (150 ebay)?
ive looked up my vin on the Russian MB site and I was wondering if there are any dealer websites where you can enter a vin and get exact part numbers?
the car has 79k on it now, and with e46's the expansion tank, waterpump, and thermos were a must before 100k. i am really looking forward to the reliability from what ive been reading, but are there any prevenative repairs i can take care of? defects?
