E55 - which year to focus on?

Looking to purchase an E55 (my first). Any suggestions on which model year I should be focused on?
Or should I look at the 2007-2008 E63?
Any additional insight would be appreciated.

If you want the SC version, then the E55. The E63 is a n/a motor.

Later models of either are always a better choice.

You'll get a lot more responses if you go to the right forum (AMG W211 E55/63 forums)

Better yet, do a search. This question has been asked a million times.

For E55 better with 05 and 06. Try to stay away from 03.
