Console tambour door sticking
Hi,
I did STFF and found plenty of chatter about the design of the console, but nothing about what to do when it sticks and doesn't want to open/close. I have the similar console in my CLK, and when that one, with MB-Tex tambour, gets hung up, it's because I've got too much crap in the console. Just got the 211 with wood tambour and it's binding up with an empty console. Anyone?

Blow some air down the tracks to the rear & over the top at the rear where it goes inside. There bay be some debris in these places or an errant business card on top, inside. As a last resort I'd lightly spray lube the tracks after all else.
