Just odered E500
Just ordered my E500 in White w/Pacific Blue interior, sport pkg, E2, E4, E5, wood wheel and CD changer. List just over 61k, dealer reduced to 58.6k, Lease price $829 mo. with $0 down, 36 mo, 12k yr. Placed order in New Jersey.
Does this sound like a good deal?
Any input would be appreciated. I am new to this site.

I've been shopping around and it sounds like a good deal to me. It continues to amaze me that Mercedes (of all brands) has to discount such a beautiful, capable car during its first model year. I'm certainly not complaining, though...

Welcome Thomas. The price seems very good...don't know anything about the lease so can't comment.
You will enjoy like the rest of us have. Hope you have been following this forum so you are up to speed on problems and solutions.
If not, just go back and catch up...it will take a while but you should find it interesting.

Your lease price
In the NJ area as well....
I know that few dealers (Paramus/Nanuet, NY) have had some specials for the E320 for about $600 a month. If you ask me, that's a good deal. By the way, if I had seen the Pacific blue before I ordered my car last Sept. I would have never gotten the silver (not that i dont love it) but that car looks extremely gorgeous in that color.

The MB Brilliant Silver is one of the very finest silvers on the planet. It is common, that is true, but nonethless.
I just wish the blacks were not such a pain to maintain. Nothing like a black Mercedes.

I test drove a car with a Pacific Blue interior. I'll be completely honest --- I'm not a fan, especially when I went and sat in an E with a black interior right after the test drive. The blue isn't like the old navy interior --- it's lighter and seemed to have almost a purplish tint to it. I'd only consider it if you've seen it in person. The dealer seemed desperate to get this car off of the lot, and I'm honestly not surprised. I also think it'd hurt the resale value because it'll eliminate so many future buyers. Just my $.02.

Pacific Blue Pic
Check out this eBay auction --- there's a decent pic of the Pacific Blue interior, and you can kind of see what I mean about a purple tint to it. It's love-it-or-hate-it.

thanks for the info, that is light blue in that photo. at MBUSA.com the blue shows much darker almost navy. see attached photo.
anyway I will have to see it in person, I will try to find a dealer who has something with Pacific Blue Interior.

yes, if I take the car I will post photos of the Pacific Blue Interior. At this point I'm worried that the blue may be to light. I'm going to try to find one with blue interior today at a dealer nearby. I will take my digital camera with me.
