Command screen dead; no audo, nav, etc
Really hoping this turns out to be a fuse, but I'd like to see if anyone has seen this problem before I dig too deep. I was wiring in a bury cradle last night. Included in that was working under in the space under the glovebox in my 06 E500. I have an Itronic in there. As I was putting things back together, I heard what sounded like a tiny short, or a static discharge (not static in this humidity!) coming from the itronic box. This unit has a remote switch on it and I'm thinking something on that switch hit the box.
Long story short, when I power up the vehicle my screen shows me the MB logo for around ten seconds (as it usually does) and then goes blank. Changing the input to nav, map, sat, does nothing.
Anyone have an idea as to what I should be looking for?

In addition to previous suggestion you can check f28 (15A) fuse @ interior fuse box. If fine, remove and let COMAND sit idle for 45 minutes or so to attempt a reset.

Completely off topic here, but just wanted to say thanks konigstiger...
I was searching old threads for a CDC issues I was having and your suggestion to pull fuse # 26 in the interior fuse box worked perfectly. Your post above reminded me of this...Thanks again
