Just curious if any of you E500 guys (gals) have ever run into a GS 350.
Or for that matter, how about an IS 350?
I know the IS is lighter and obviously quicker than the GS, but how quick are these Lexi compared to our 5.0 V8?
Note: I do not condone illegal "street racing".

I raced one time with the IS350 and not sure what he done to the motor but the outside is modified (exhaust, body kit etc..). Anyway, we went from around 40 to 100 we are dead even and then we have to stop because of the traffic. The only thing I've done to my car is replaced my stock filters to K&N and thats it.

Never invited a Lex to dance, but the other day a brand new Camaro was next to me at the stop light.
Beat him by a horse length and expect his mill was probably a V-6. (310 HP ?)
Probably caught him by surprise as most station wagons are driven to the Whole Foods market by the Birkenstock wifes, not by a guy with a shaved head and a beer belly looking to extract every calorie from the 302 HP at a random red-light...
Probaby could have done better in S mode, rather than C mode.
(Starting out in 1st gear rather than 2nd)

Now pick up a GS430 or a GS460 and it might be a different story

Doesnt matter if your in C or S mode, when the gas pedal is floored, it automatic starts in 1st gear.
I thought C was always 2 second gear.
Cheers.

The one across from Barnes & Noble? That's where I buy my food
We go there occasionally, but it is across town from where we live, long drive.
You live in the area?
Lets meet for a coffe next time and try to run down a Lexus or two on the way..
