After changing the cars batteries, how do you "normalize" the ESP and Automatic AC?

1992 Camry LE and 2005 E320 CDI
After changing the cars batteries, how do you "normalize" the ESP and Automatic AC?

As the titles states, how? This is per instructions in the Dual Battery.pdf

Steering angle sensor (ESP) – start engine, turn wheel from one lock position to the other then center it.

Does anyone know or how to "normalize" the automatic air conditioning, I guess they mean climate control? I guess I might need a STAR diagnosis.
