REAR AIRSPRING REPLACEMENT
ANYONE REPLACE THE REAR AIR SPRING? HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE AND HOW MUCH DID THE LABOUR COST? DO YOU NEED THE START DIAGNOSTIC TO COMPLETE THE JOB?

It's not a quick job if done correctly. The air spring itself isn't too hard to remove but it has a large diameter air hose leading to a air resuvior and the hose goes over the rear subframe. it's a really bad idea to cut the hose clamps and remove the hose from the resuviour and replace the clamp as if this hose comes off then the car will drop to the minimum height IMMEDIATELY. To to the job correctly it requires the lowering of the rear subframe, expect between 8-12 hrs to be charged for this job. Not really something you want to try at home, best done on a hoist.

just got a few quotes to replace this part and its not a 8 to 12 hr job its a 3 to 4 hr job and its quoted at 300 dollars to 450 and 450 was from mercedes benz 300 was from mc nallys auto
