W211 E550 headlight adjustment?
I just bought a 2007 E550 with Xenons and noticed the headlights seem to be adjusted too low. It was kinda scary driving at night for the first time as the sharp cutoff was not illuminating as far ahead as I think they should. Any idea on how to adjust them without taking to the dealership?

Yes, there is an adjustment. Its kind of hard to explain where it is, but there is a hole which I believe can be adjusted with a screwdriver or an allen wrench.

This happened in my CLK after some routine service. Turns out the leveling sensor was knocked out of position and adjusted the lights too low. The dealer corrected it in seconds.
Do the headlights still go through the adjustment procedure upon startup? Mine did, but were SUPER obviously too low - almost pointing straight down in front of the car just a couple of feet out.
Sorry I can't tell you any more about the sensor or its location.

It's not so bad that there is something wrong with the auto-leveling sensor, but it would be nice to be able to adjust them up maybe a 3/4 an inch higher than where they are pointing now.
