copy of DTB P-B-82.60/360a for AWG issue
I've brought my 2003 Mercedes Benz E500 countless times to the dealer for this issue audio issue. It was repaired under warranty but then the issue came back out of warranty. I paid $500 for a fix that only lasted one month. Now the dealer wants $1000 to fix the problem by replacing the cable/module. I came across a few threads but I can't find official documentation of this issue to try to get it covered under goodwill. Can someone please provide me with the document?

Existance od TSB does not merit goodwill assistance. A TSB is simply a document to help lead a technician to a diagnosis.....
Ex: If this compaint exists, and these codes are present, check x component and replace if necc.
Nowhere in any DTB does it say repair should be done at no cost outside of 4/50 warranty. If problem was incorrectly diagnosed and the incorrect repair was performed, it is dealer's responsibilty to make it right. You would be better off explaining your case/situation to dealership Service Manager and POLITELY requesting his assistance.

12/unlimited mileage warranty does not apply to repairs done under MB warranty. This warranty would not apply if repair is a different problem as well.
Again, you are better talking (not demanding holding a DTB in hand) to dealer SM regarding your concern. A kind conversation can go a long way.....
