Sunroof popped a spring? 4 Real?

Sunroof popped a spring? 4 Real?
Amazing! Opened my sunroof on my '03 E320 for the first time in quite a while and a spring popped out and a plastic piece that held it in appears broken! Of course I have the huge sunroof - anyone ever seen that before? Having a run of bad luck with this E320.
