So my E320 CDi is totalled...
Hey folks. Long time no post. I've been active here since 2004 and can remember when I was researching the car and finally bought it.
Pure excitement. Last week, my car was hit from behind while @ deadstop in highway traffic. Hit by a Ford F250 with a tow bar in front doing 60 mph. I ended up hitting the car in front of me as result. Not fun. End result, three herniated discs, fractured L4/5, bruising and a headache from hell. The car is totalled and I'll be ok. DPS officer said my car saved my life. I believe it.

Sorry to hear of your loss but very glad to hear you're okay. Similar accident, New Year's Eve 2008, just bought my 06 SL55, picked it up at the detail shop, driving home surface traffic backs up suddenly, near panic stop okay, look in rearview mirror, WHAM, 2007 Toyota Avalon hits me at 45-50mph and pushes me into the car ahead. Bottom line, she's totaled, I'm totaled (similar injuries but not as severe) and the car in front is heavily damaged. Insurance covers it all. Bottom line my SL saved the day, saved my from serious injury and I'll never own another brand!
