Where do I buy an A/T dipstick???
I'm having a hard time justifying $80 for a "dipstick tool" from the dealer and I see that they are being sold on ebay for~$25. This is for a 2008 E350 4matic 722.6 trans. Ebay states they are for this particular trans but doesn't state they are for an E350...any suggestions?
Also, where do you suggest I buy the service manual? I can't seem to find it anywhere else but the dealer...whats the going rate for these?

I got mine from http://www.baumtools.com/ about $45 with shipping. Probably overpaid but the quality is pretty good. The service manual - from ebay - $20 shipped.

The service manuals from ebay all list E320's and not the E350 4matic...I see there is one selling for $110 but wouldn't mind buying one used second hand if I could find it...

I didnt know we had a dipstick for the auto tranny, where is it located at? There is also another dipstick that is on the right side of the engine, it has a twist cap on it with a short dip stick, is that the power steering fluid????

No dipstick possible with 7-speed transmission.
4Matic cars have the older 5-speed, which has the tube.
7-speed on all 2006-on non-4matics except the diesel. 2007-on diesels.
It will be same as E320s (gasoline), which had the 5-speed.
