2006 E320 cracked panel

hey everyone,

I've got a cracked panel or faring underneath the rear passenger side door and i was wondering if anyone had any steps regarding how to remove this panel. i'd like to try to repair it if possible.

here's a shot of the victim:

Unclip along top with wedge, remove expansion rivets to wheel wells + below, and bolt to rear wheel well. Be careful to not loose round gasket about midpoint. In addition, you may want to have replacement expansion rivets on hand (about .50 to 1.00 each). PM email address and I will send instruction sheet.

FYI replacement info; unpainted left part #21169801549999, and right 21169802549999 (parts.com, both $169.05)

fantastic! thanks for the fast response. when you say to unclip with wedge, would i use something like a putty knife? also, to remove the rivets, would i drill them out with a drill bit? if so, do you know what size bit i would use?

thanks again,
jared
