Trunk LED Lights?

Trunk LED Lights?
Anyone had success with replacing the trunk halogen bulbs with LEDs? I have tried the ones with AND without resistors. Both of them would light up and blink for about 30 seconds and then stay on afterwards. I'm trying to see if there's a way to have them stay ON right off the bat.

Are you talking about the interior trunk lights, or the exterior trunk license plate lights?
