SRS message on and pass. air bag light?
I have a 2005 sedan and the SRS light is on. Also the pass. air bag light goes on when the passenger seat is not sat in.Is this a sensor that can be repaired and do I need to go to the dealer to clear the message on the dash.

The SRS warning means that there is a fault in the system. The air bag light when no one is in the pass seat I believe shows that it will not go off. This is normal when the seat is empty. Dealer is the best bet to diagnose and fix the SRS light as there are numerous items that could cause this.

Do you know what kinda of work the dealer would do to repair the SRS Warning light? By replacing the sensor located in the back of the driver seat would solve the problem? Does anyone know about this problem? I'm trying to fix my problem on my car the cheapest way possible..any help or tips would be appreciated..
