Navigation - Disk Question ?
Hi i am getting my E350 this saturday 2009 i was reading how bad the navigation is.
Can someone kindly answer few questions for me plese.
1. Does it have a disk ?
2. What is the latest version ?
3. What is the disk name ?
It is possible all we need is updates. how you get updates with a disk ? or by dealer uploading maps ?
Also how do you remove the disk form the car if it has a disk it may have a small SD card ot hard drive i don't know
And is it possible to use a 2010 disk ??

For MY09 navigation system is hard drive based (no disc installed) to update one simply needs to load update disc into head unit, current navigation database disc available @ navteq.com part #U0044-0070-001.

Data on the diask doesnt really change that much unless you live in an area that is experiencing explosive growth. Why don't you use the NAV for a while & see how helpfull or not it is, first.
