Hi i just got my 2009 E350 Sport Package AMG with 15k miles delivered.

1. I turned on the AC: When i make a left turn i hear a whistling/hissing noise like air compressor letting air out ?

Is that normal ? it does not happen a lot only on low AC like 3 to 4 bars especially when i make a left turn..

Any suggestion ?

2. does your engine make like a rev noise it not too loud but you can hear it when you drive off. it like the belt or the pully is running too fast ?

I don't know too much about Mercedes my first car used 09 15k miles private sale from NY i had it shipped so did not get a chance to test drive it..

Not sure about the turning part, but I had a hissing sound for a few days, until I realized that one of the vents wasn't open all the way.

My vents are all open front and back. hissing noise coming from the side vents in the front.

I am actually very disappointed in mercedes wish i had the test drive now.

I guess i will need to take it to the dealer to get it checked out.

thought people here might come across similar problems..

1. AC hissing noise from the front vents
2. engine rev noise. 1000 RPM to 1400 RPM it not loud but enough you can hear it. Never heard that noise in any car before.

I have a Lexus ES350 09 i can't even tell the engine is on or not it is that quite. I guess will have to think twice in the future not a happy camper right now..

My problem solved by dealer under warranty

change air compressor and air dryer unit and some other parts

no more engine noise or hissing noise from the AC

everything is perfect i have to thank Lober Motors for excellent service

i feel good now.

U should have test drove the car before and gave MB a chance to fixed before you talk down on a MB. Lexus are having a fair share of their problems right now Glad everything went well

I agree with you i should have test drive the car but it was impossible for me to fly out test drive and come back. I took the dealer words as everything is good.

All i said was very dissapointed in MB based on my lexus experience, That is why i posted my findings thanked lober motors and Mercedes for there service.

even went to say very happy camper... Proud to be a MB owner
