Replacing (missing) Sat Radio in 07 211, what parts do I need?
This is a repost from the audio forum, hopefully I'll get some more relevant traffic here..
So I pulled m trunk liner out to figure out why my satellite radio isn't working. No surprise, the PO (probably a lease) removed the receiver and probably sold it. I took some pictures showing what I do have in the way of cabling, so I was hoping someone could tell me what I'm missing. As far as I'm aware, there's four total parts. the wiring harness (I think mine is intact), the receiver, antenna and amplifier, correct..? The car is a US Spec P2, so it should be already version coded, etc.
I do have some more pictures of the general area if anyone needs to see anything else.
Thanks!

Control unit as in the receiver? There's a separate part that connects the MOST cable? Can you tell me which of those is the MOST cable? I assumed it was the one plugged into itself to help create the fiber optic ring?

First picture clockwise, antenna – MOST (connected together) – power you should only need to purchase receiver current part #2118706790. When installed retrieve ESN (SAT hardkey – service soft key) then contact SIRIUS to activate.

Thanks Konigstiger. I've found a few of the previous versions of that part number for sale, but the 2118706790 is sort of hard to find online (used at least). Any idea of that version is sirius and xm capable like the 2009's, or if it has the same sort of problems that the previous iterations of that part did?

To receive XM programming you will need 6790 receiver (installed as of MY08 production) and COMAND head unit update utilizing service disc 211589162200 - check your email.
