$900 to replace E320 Wagon rear shocks???

Wow! just received a quote for just over $900 to replace two rear shocks on my 04 E320 wagon! I take it a DIY on them would be too risky for a non-experienced user??

Changing rear shocks is an easy DIY.
The following DIY is for a rear shock in the E500. The procedure should be the same for the E320.
