doesn't work with ios4.1 and iphone 3gs/3g ipod touch 2g
ended up having to downgrade ios to 4.0 or prior ( fun )
apparently there were some security fixes in 4.1 that cause the problem
very difficult to find any info about this on the web so I thought I'd post here in case someone else runs into same issue

would be nice to see a little better info coming out of mobridge support - love the product but support is non existent

More info on this ios 4.x / mobridge ipod connector issue
found a workaround if you have a jailbroken device
turn off multitasking using the myos app ( found in cydia )
this fixes the issue in total
