Any way to remove the horizontal, painted "bar" on E500 lower grill?

Any way to remove the horizontal, painted "bar" on E500 lower grill?
My '05 has a horizontal fiberglass(possibly resin) bar that covers the lower grill area. It is painted to match the rest of the car. I'm curious if there is a way to remove this and if it leaves any marks or mounting points that are visible once it is removed.

Yeah just rip it off haha...I did. It is held on by clips.....
