NAV button - what should display
I am looking long distance at a 2006 E320 CDI. Its datacard says 528 COMAND DVD PLUS (Without Navigation) and the dealer says it does not have Navigation. However, the dealer has posted pictures of the dash and the display shows NAV in the bottom left and some menu items on the screen. The first is "Destination Memory".
I am trying to figure out if somebody has retrofitted NAV, or if this display still appears with no navigation, or if the dealer is posting pictures from a different car.
I realize I can ask the dealer to look in the trunk, but I guess I am hoping to get a NAV equipped car at a non-NAV price.
Could anyone with a non-NAV car tell me what happens when they press NAV.

Its a very odd screen though... According to the screen, you can only look to navigate to locations you have previously memorized into the Memory, yet there are no previous destinations available to see. Nor are there any POI's... nor are you able to manually enter a new destination into the system to Navigate to. Something is not right with the Nav which apparently IS installed in the car.
I Imagine, if the car thought that there was NO nav installed, when you press NAV the screen would display "Navigation Not Available". The car obviously thinks there is Nav installed because that NAV input screen is coming from somewhere other than the COMAND.

Buggy's photo is exactly what comes up when you press the NAV button. His daylight shot makes it difficult to see that just below "Destination Memory" is "Destination Entry", "Last Destinations" and "POIs". You can scroll to any of them and input information as necessary to Navigate.

Sorry, Barry, but I'm going to have to disagree with you there. The choices are there and they are just a very light color in the daylight mode. I took a picture of mine just now and they are very light, but if you scroll down they turn dark and you punch the OK button and they activate. If the car does not have NAV, I don't think you can even get to a screen like this to begin with.
