E320 2004 model Silver sedan
push button start on 2004 E320

Is it possible to add a push button start on a 2004 mercedes E320 instead of using the key everytime to start the car?

i know the new models comes with a keyfob where the car detects the owner by the key presence but i just want to install a simple button which will allow to start the car with the push of a button.

did anyone performed this mod?

It's called "Keyless Go" and was an option in the 2004 MY.

I believe it would be cost prohibitive to add, if it's even possible.

That's a key programmer, not an installation of Keyless Go.

Keyless go has been added to a W203 before. Do a search for Sunil and he should be able to assist. Please keep in mind that it is VERY cost prohibitive to do, and every dealer will tell you it is impossible to do.
