Waiting for E-Class with Nav
MY04 New Features / Design Changes
Because of the Nav fiasco, I am waiting to buy an 04 MY.
What has anyone heard on the new features or design changes vs. the MY03 car?
(other than Nav-- I assume the MB weasels will have that right by then).

based on other posts on this forum, it seems like the following maybe in MY04, but no confirmation from anywhere.
1. Universal phone holder (UHI)
2. possibly bluetooth in Navi (2003 Navi does not have it from those outside US that have received Navi)
3. I've heard about the active cornering headlamps, but maybe an option, not standard??
4. Maybe satellite radio
Anything else??

MB should provide the missing metal door sills in 2004 for the E class. There should be an AMG sport appearance option in the US. Also, I bet there will be a medium colored tan option, such a Java, available for the interior.

They're about a year behind of XM in deployment but they say they will catch up soon. XM is backed by GM and a lot of Japanese manufacturers - Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Isuzu, Suzuki, etc.
