For those of you with the refresh 211 w/Xenon lights

I noticed that the bulbs you get on the smaller running lights are this beautiful bluish green color.

Are those standard wedge bulbs or a special bulb you get with the Xenon system? I'd love to put those bulbs in my C 32 assuming they'll match up in fitting.

I'm almost positive the parking lights on the Xenon W211's are mismatch-edly halogen yellow (or was this only for the pre facelift?).

2003 - 2006 had yellow-ish bulbs in there. 2007 > cars had the "matching" bi-xenon-ish colored bulbs, not yellow at all. Quite a color mismatch in the earlier cars, better looking in the later cars.

I personally don't know if the 07> bulbs are a direct swap with the <06 cars light sockets/car circuitry/bad bulb notification software.

They're actually LEDs. Not halogen.

yup LED. really nice IMO, matches beautifully

you can't use the bulb though, different housing for the LED i think.

Shame. Thanks for the info, though. :)

i know :( i looked into it a while back. you can buy aftermarket matching bulbs. there's a guy in the W204 C class forum selling them (6000k and 8000k temps). Here's the link for his thread in this forum.
