How fast is '06 e320 cdi?
Hi there!
I'm looking to trade my current c230k to '06-'09 e320 cdi, can anyone advice whats the stock 1/4 mile time for e320 cdi, 224 hp?
How fast is 0-100 stock/with kleemann box (260 hp/444 lb./ft) for this car?
Does smoking from KD-box only visible at top RPM? Does it smokes at average RPMs?
What other mods can be applied to this car? (up to 300hp maybe???)

In general, the 0-60 is around 6 seconds. I have not tested personally, but thats the figure I recall from MotorWeek. It will smoke at high revs but normal driving there is no smoke. 06 is straight 6, 07-09 is V6.

No V6 diesel in 2006
2006 E320 cdi is an iron block in-line turbodiesel. It does 0-60 in 6.9 sec. Don't recall 1/4 mile. The 2007 V6 diesel will do about the same. Biggest negative for the V6 is that it gives poorer fuel mileage. The pluses are no diesel stink and its quieter. Some people (like me) worry about Al diesels in terms of longevity.
