Help ! Xenon issues..
i have a e500 with factory xenons. i do not have bi-xenon..
i had a xenon bulb out so purchase a set of two because i thought it would be smart to have aspare around.
So i changed the bulb but still doesnt work. so thought maybe the black box that goes behind the bulb was bad. So put the black box behind the the other headlight that worked good and it WORKED.
So what could it be? can it be the silver box under the headlight? When i turn the light on i hear a click from the headlight so it makes me think its working..
P.S - i also swapped bulbs too.
Can something be loose?

I didn't know it was possible not to have Bi-xenon, are you sure? I thought my car did not either since my hi-beams where the city lights come on if I use the stalk, but to my surprise my xenon's flick up as well. So I have 4 hi-beams, lol.

Yes, I had that happen during the summer. Replaced the bulb and it still didn't work.
Took it to an indy shop and they found that it was a loose wire.
Sorry I didn't ask which one or where it was.
Btw you always replace them in pairs, as a new bulb will be much "whiter" for the first ~100hrs of use.

I think you were asking me ?
Ebay-Click Here Factory bulb/4200k
Note: as the Kelvin temp goes up, light putput goes down.
+1, they may look cool, but don't perform as well.
