I also was told to wait until it comes out, and this is part of my main reason I bought the car. I was definately going to get Nav. because I was told that it can be retrofitted. It's ridiculous now to hear all these results MB is announcing. I also spoke to my salesperson and he told me it's impossible to order a new car with nav. for non-prepaids. Anyone with same situation? MB should seriously think about this.

So I thought I'd share my experience in case it helped someone. After several calls to my dealership, someone that was on the ball and quite helpful finally called me back.

The net is that they let me change color and add both a CD changer + wood steering wheel for $400 and $500 respectively. Build date is june/july, delivery probably august.

My car on order specs

E320
Platinum Blue/Ash Leather interior
Sun Roof/ Premium Sound
Heated seats
CD changer
Wood wheel
and hopefully navigation

All in all I must say I'm quite happy with how mercedes handled this.
