slight squil from A/C ?

slight squil from A/C ?
have any of you had issues with a slight squil that comes and goes from the A/C vents almost like there is a fan wheel that needs to be lubricated. Is there anyone who know how to get rid of it ?

If the squeal is at low fan speeds only, and audible when the car is at rest, it is indeed the blower motor bearing. There are numerous posts (mostly with pre 05 211 E class vehicles). I don't remember the cure as my '07 never developed the problem but my '04 did, and at that time no one had acknowledged there was a problem yet with the blower motor.

The noise is probably from the worn out bearings of the blower motor. There's a DIY in this forum in taking it out. Mine was making noise a few months ago. I took out the motor, sprayed some WD40 down the shaft and let it sit for a few mins. It's been a few months now, the noise has not returned. The other option is to buy a new motor fan online. I think it's something like $200-$300.
