HELP!Need driver side view mirror for 2007 E350!!!

I came out one morning to find my driver side mirror hanging on by just the wires! The mirror was on the side of the sidewalk, so someone must have broke it on purpose or just fell on top of it...The turn signal LED's work and the motor works, the only thing is something is broken on the part where it mounts on the thing where it pivots to fold in and out.

The dealer quoted me at $495 but i'm pretty sure that I can fix this cheaper myself if I had another mirror to pull some parts off of......and instructions..can anyone help??

Fix it fast because the swinging or laying of the mirror on the cars body will scar the car's paint.
