Trunk closer issue
So my trunk closer has been acting up about 20% of the time. I'll press the button, and it'll close about halfway, and then reopen itself. The mechanics seem perfectly fine, it just feels as though it needs to abort the attempt. I'm assuming this may have something to do with the sensor that measures the current angle the car is at? Anyone experience anything similar? I couldn't find any posts with the exact same problem, most were about the motor actually being shot..

Strange you mentioned that. Mind did the same for the first time two days ago. I usually press the combined lock and close trunk button and just walk away and two days ago when I did not hear the 3 chirps while walking away, I looked back and sure enough the trunk had opened back up. I press the close button again and it closed the second time. What gives?
