2003 E 500 - Full option
Assist +
The new E class is equiped with a new version of the assist system for maintenance intervals.
Can somebody explain to me how it works.
It looks that the intervals are no more rated A & B but A to G ?
When my E 500 was delivered in April 02, the ASSIST indicated 20000 km before service (13000 miles).
Following the ASSIST + indication, I drove 25000 km (16000 miles) up to the first service (D).
MB just changed the oil + filter and the AC filter.
After service, the ASSIST indicates now 15000 km (9300 miles) before the next service (C). Why not 20000 km as the first time ?
Strange ?
