Finally an E320 CDI for us
After selling our M45 and replacing with a Tahoe, I quickly regretted the decision. So I started the hunt for a suitable replacement. After seeing the Mercedes E320 CDI, I became intrigued by the late model diesel technology. So I listed my Tahoe for sale and started the hunt for a car. I was extremely fortunate and found a car with the right options and color, but in southern Florida, and I am from Missouri.
Fast forward to today when I happened to be in southern Florida on a business trip and ended buying the car and will be starting the long drive home tomorrow.
Couple of quick images from phone. It is tastefully modded by a truely enthusiast owner, from this forum.

thank you.
thanks
Yep. Has a Kleeman KD box, the newer tailamps and came with the stock wheels too.
I am actually selling the wheels and going to move into a set of 19's I think.
I want to do the LED tail lamps at some point. I am a white NUT, and will not own any other color, except my work truck.
Here are the garage mates:

PM me.
By the way, same here...I'm a white nut. My E320's garage mate is a 2008 Sequoia Platinum in Pearl White. Beautiful in my opinion. I looked, but couldn't find a white CDI when I was in the market. Oh well.

I'd love to buy them. Would you be willing to ship 'em to Northwest Indiana?
PM me.

We had since talked. You should have the images now.
I love the white on those Sequoias.

Nice, but be careful...
...of those heavilly tinted windows. In some states tint that deep on the front windows is illegal. Hides the driver too well from a cop during a stop.
You might want to do a grill swap. Withe the hood ornament gone a big MB star in the grill becaomes a sensible and appropriate touch.
I did kind of like you in buying my 2006 cdi in 2009. Flew down to S. Carolina from mid-Michigan to but the car. A fun trip. Only negative was that a rock took out a fog light lens on the way back. Only cost $16 to replace it to my amazement.
I get 42 mpg @ 70 mph with mine (24,000 miles). How did you do coming back home?

i had a fun trip as well, no damage occurred for me though.
i got an average of 34.45 the entire trip, driving with a headwind and bitter cold the last 450 miles.

Congrats on the 05 - I am going to look at one this week. Am partial to one with front climate controlled and dynamic seats. Usually come with all the other goodies but typcially and exepected, more expensive with low miles. Where were you looking? autotrader, craigslist, CPO? I don't remember seeing this one. Wheels / tires look nice.

b16gsr, could you please check on the images of your CDI? I came back to this post to check out your car since I am thinking about picking up the same wheels for my CDI. It appears the links aren’t working for the images you posted and I wanted to look at your car for a reference. Thanks

No really sure I want to but looking at maybe selling my Vette to get a E320 CDI ( for the mileage) In your search did you find anything I should look for or stay away from. I've found there are always years or features to stay away from. We have an S320 that has been the best vehicle I've ever owned and hope the E320 is a good a car.
