Bluetooth/Command Issues

I've done a couple searches and could not really find anything specific to my problem.
I have an '07 E350 and had successfully installed and paired my phone to it over a year ago. However, recently I have run into problems where either the puck or the command unit believe my phone is making a call when in fact it is not. The music will die down, the phone screen will pop up and act as if I am on a call. It will cancel itself out to only come back up after a couple more seconds as if it is trying to connect the call again. The only way I have been able to listen to music and drive now is to turn off the bluetooth connection on my phone itself.
Has anyone had similar experiences? Do you of a solution?

If his suggestion does not work, try driving around without your phone. If it still does the same thing, have someone with Star disable your Teleaide module...

I have had this happen using older phones when they start receiving an MMS message. I am not sure if that could be cause in your case or not but as soon the phone reads "Packet data" this would lead this car into thinking that a call is in progress and would do the same thing. You may try some of the suggestions above try another phone or perhaps a different Bluetooth puck that would have a different software revision on it.

If no other variables have changed i don't know why it would start doing this suddenly.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I went ahead and did a "hard restart" on my BB by pulling out the battering and letting it restart; it doesn't seem as if this has fixed the problem. Later tonight I'll try paring a different phone and see if I have the same problem with a different handset; this should allow me to narrow down the problem from either the phone or the bluetooth.
Do you know if there is a similar "hard restart" to the command unit I can do as well?
