e270 cdi Power steering bad when warm.
Hey guys,
I'm Having this problem with me 2002 270 cdi.
When i go to work in the morning, the car's power steering works almost perfectly.
I can twist the steering wheel with 1 finger if needed.
So if i drive for like 30 minutes and try to park the car, the steering is quit bad.
It isnt out completly bad definitly a lot harder to turn.
I have parameter steering on this car and the solenoid valve has been checked with STAR Diagnose and nothing came up.
If i put the car in N and put the revs up a bit the steerings comes back.
Is there anyone here that knows something about this?
Could the solenoid parameter valve fail but without giving an error in star?
Or is it something to do with the steering colom(house) or steering pump ?
And if so is there a method to check this?
grtz
Mike
