E 320 - Brakes Vibrations

I have a 2003 E 320, when I start the car every thing looks perfect !!! few seconds after placing my foot on the brake, a vibration comes right under my feet like ZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzz ... this last for like 3 seconds and then disapears however, while driving the same vibration comes over and over when braking. Any help in this regard is highly appreciated.

Search this forum for SBC pump noise. That noise is NORMAL, if the owner before you did NOT bother to bring the car into the dealer and have a "pulsation damper" installed by the SBC pump. This noise is the booster pump making pressure for the power brakes. Early W211s made a bit of noise and vibration, if you complained to the delaer they would fix it free of charge. I had mine fixed right away and I can hear it sometimes when the car is in the garage and I open a door, but I never hear it inside the car.

Hope this helps,

Steve
