Hey guys ,
Anybody knows how you can fix the check engine light on my Mercedes E320 Bluetec or how much it costs ? Is a DIY or I have to go to a dealer ? Car still running smoth .Thank you .

It is probably worth it to pickup a $100 code reader if you are concerned about costs. It may be something as simple as a MAF which you could change yourself, or even a loose fuel cap. But without reading the code thats causing the CEL there is no way to tell.

I've taken my GMC products to Autozone and they'll read the codes for free. I would imagine they'd do the same for your Bluetec, but I'll bet whatever it is they won't have the part and unless it's something silly like the gas cap you're going to wind up at the dealer.

CEL will eventually go away if it is due to gas cap only; anything else means it needs attention.
