2003 Mercedes E500
Just bought 2003 E500, looking for warranty??

Hey guys!!
Im new to this forum, and just made my first Mercedes purchase..
Its a 2003 E500 with 69K miles. The car is awesome!!! It runs and looks new. Im reallly happy with it.
With that said...
Ive been told the car can be costly to maintain with parts being expensive..
I had it inspected at Mercedes Benz for $200 before purchase, and it came out immaculate. No problems except that it needed new brakes, which the dealer did for me.
So i was just wondering if any of you guys know where to get a good deal on a warranty with that year and miles?
I think i will start shopping around now to see if i get something good.
IF any of you guys know of any companies, let me know.
Thanks!

I will be asking a lot of additional things on here now that im in the club..lol

congrats and I recently purchased an E500 myself. I would also like to know about warranties on older cars.

Hmm, okay.

Did you pay the dealer, or was that included..?

I got an estimate 2 days ago from an Indy Shop about doing a full brake job on my 2004 E-500.
He said $900 to $1,200 as the rotors had to be replaced and this that and the other.

As for warranty:

I got Easy Care 18 months ago.

36/36000 cost $3K or so.

Happy with the program as it has paid for itself already with 18 months to go.

The dealer did it, i didnt pay anything. I told them, after getting inspection done, that only way i would buy is if they would do that. And they did.
As for the warranty, actually i looked today at www.easycare.com, and was wondering is this good or not?
I know you have it, but does it cause you any problems? or is it pretty much what they say it is?
If its good, then it looks like its something i would pull the trigger on this week...

this is where the internet or Finishline in miami come in handy for parts, and as for labor, anyone can change your brakes. they are actually easier to change than a honda.
