Service E Due
2004 E 320 4 matic.
Just got an oil change from a local mechanic, however its still shows that service e due. How do i reset it without going to a dealer
. If anyone knows please help me out. Thank you.

The letter refers to the approx. amount of hours it will take to complete the task due. You didnt post mileage so its anyones guess as to whats due. You can look at the maint. schedule for your vehicle at http://www.mbusa.com/mercedes/servic...enance_manuals pick your year and model. Its broken down in mileage and age increments. I would say as a guess, Air Filter, Pollen Filter, Transmission and Transfer case, (if you havent already) Brake fluid flush (every 2 years regardless of mileage), and a bunch of check this and check that

My milage is 71000.
Thanks, but after I preform what's noted in the (maintenance manual) in local mechanic shop and if he doesn't have the computer to restart. Is there any ways I can get rid of that service message manually ? Or must be done by Mercedes dealer ?
