is my 05 e500 bluetooth compatible?
hi guys, so i have an 05 e500, and in the center is an old silver motorola phone that plugs into this black dock. i dont want to use the motorola phone, id like to use my iphone 4. which adapter do i have to buy? i see a couple different ones, one is long, one is short. please let me know. thanks guys. also if possible, provide a link to the right adapter? thanks.

I have a 2008 E350 and I bought the BT adaptor B6 787 5878 and it works great with my iPhone 4 (Verizon). It downloaded my entire contact list as well. The 5878 version is cheaper but seems to do the same think as the newer, smaller, but more expensive black version. Personally, I would have liked the black version, but to be honest, I did't want it enough to pay the premium for it.

I don't know if the 05 and the 08 are the same, but assuming they are, I'd remove the phone docking station - probably a little button to release it and if it is anything like the 2008, the "surf board" plugs in there in lieu of the phone cradle.
