New shoes for the CDI

I let my wife pick these out. She picked out the last set for the M45, and I gave her a choice of whatever she liked.

Here is what she chose.

Vossen VVS-082 Black and Machined with Stainless lip
19 x 8.5 front with 245/35/19 Nitto INVO
19 x 10 rear with 275/30/19 Nitto INVO

I think it really looks nice.

What do you think of the Tyres

HI There

I have snuck in from the W124 forum after your post came up on searching for Nitto Invo tyres.

Thinking of a set of these for my CE-300.

What are your thoughts on them overall ???

Cheers

Looks very nice, is an understatement!! It looks awesome! Just when I convinced myself to go with 18's, you hit me with this.

I'm interested to see the decrease in gas mileage.

I'd like to find a nice, subtle wheel that doesn't mess with the gas mileage too much. Ideally, I'd like to find modern AMGs in 17" form, but I don't think those even exist, and if they do they might look ridiculous.

I am on my 4th set of them, one on the benz, one on our old m45 and 2 sets on different corvettes. could not be happier with them for one simple fact, you can rotate them since they are not directional. they are quiet on the highway and do well in the rain. i will definitely keep using them.

Day I picked it up with AMG 18's.

Thank you for the compliments.

With the AMG 18's I got an average of 34.5 mpg on my 1350 mile trip home from picking up the car. It has hardly changed with these. I will report back as we are going to be doing 1700 miles in it the second week of July.
