Airmatic Suspension Question

Does anyone know if thereis an option within the diagnostic computer to adjust the ride height of airmatic?
Im am not after a "rest of world setting", as I am already in the rest of world!
I want to lower the car arounf 1/2", without resorting to a lowering module, if possible.
I am about to take my car in for its first service. The service guys are pretty cool as I spent alot of time with them on the old E55 playing with fuel and ignition settings and will ask them to have a look. From experience it is easier if you can tell them where to look.

isn't there a button on the dash already for this? or is that just to raise the car? Maybe i'm thinking W220 here..

other than that, I've also heard of an upgrade chip that takes care of teh lowering...

There is a button to raise the car and putting into sports suspension lowers it by 15mm. I am lookin to lower it further, preferrably without using a lowering module as I only want to go down another 1/2".

Don't think that possible... if you like to lower it more, you need a lowering module. Otherwise it can only lower by a little bit.

I am told by two dealers that the button to lower the car is NOT true and that it is a typo in the manual.
Mine does NOT lower with the sport button. Yes it raises with the up button. If you find that it does really lower, please let me know.

Stephens is referring to the diagnostic setup where you can "supposedly" lower the car by changing it to euro spec. Something like that.

I am pretty sure its possible, but it will be a minimal drop at most.

Guys
On the E55, changing to sport lowers the car by around 1/2 inch. The car will lower to this height when not in sport mode over 85mph automatically.
When I put the car into either sport mode you can see the car lowering. Maybe this only works with the E55??

mine doesn't lower when you select either sport mode sitting still...however i do notice that the car rises after hwy driving at the end of a off ramp everytime. i assumed the car lowers at higher speeds in sport mode.

i'm wondering if the e55 in sport II is lower than the e500 in sport II?
