iPad Integration?

Wondering the w211 owners who have an ipad and ipod kit in their cars.....does it hook up as in can you play music through it and such? thanks!

some people are reporting ipad does not work with factory system. It does work for sure with the iTronic

Oh I have iTronic in my room but lazy to install it...I meant that if the OEM connects to it and i can get sound out and use the iPad as a monitor...I know iPad won't charge or anything.
