Hi,
I have an '07 E320 Bluetec, and I have had the transmission "give out" twice in the past 2 weeks. It starts by not seeming to have any power (acceleration), and tonight it came to a crawling stop. I tried shifting forward gears and reverse and none worked. The engine did rev.. I turned the car off and restarted it, and all was fine.
Anyone ever see this before?
Thanks in advance!

Do this soon! You don't want the car giving up on you in the middle of a busy intersection or traffic circle that you are trying to clear. Also if you continue to drive the car, never put the car in a position where the momentary loss of acceleration can create a serious accident.

Thanks -
I took the car in first thing this morning. I'm not one to wait around and let something like this go. I was talking to someone last night, and he said that the valve body in these transmissions is suspect, and this is common. Dissapointing since I have only owned the car for 2 weeks, and it only has 54k on the clock.
