Assuming your rear air springs are fine, your washer method did not seem to work fine after all.

I see, I thought Airmatic cars had rear springs, air springs. Perhaps you have been in an accident and one of the airbags have exploded making the car tilt.

Anyway, you should not be able to make the car tilt from an incorrect rear sensor adjustment, you must have made a different adjustment at the front on one side compared to the other.

Many people have noticed that the airmatic system will leave one side of the car a little higher than the other when parked. MB dealer technicians consider up to 1/2 inch variance in ride height between left/right sides of the vehicle as normal, and within tolerance. I have also noticed that sometimes one side will be a little higher than the other in the rear, but most times perfectly level. I lowered my car slightly with lowering links, and am very happy with the results. If you check ride height at various times (measure from highest point of wheel arch to the ground) you will find that your car is level more often than not. Part of the function of airmatic is to keep the chassis of the car level on varying road surfaces. If there is a slight pitch or crown to your driveway, that can cause left/right variances in the size of the gap between the tire and wheel arch, even though the body of the car is perfectly level. Ideally when comparing left/right ride height, the car should be parked on a known level surface.

I’ve got a GLS63 and the right side was riding 2” lower than the left. Very noticeable. Could tell from the drivers seat that the hood sloped and even my wife who parked behind me said something. She could care less about cars.

That said I did bring it in for service and the recalibrated the level. When I got the truck back in was now at 1/2” lower on the right. Within specs they stated. Within a week though it’s already started to drift back and sits now at 1” lower. This doesn’t seem like it should continually move out of spec. At least not so soon.

Just thought I’d share my experience. I’m not sure what needs to be done at this point.
