My 07 wagon has a high pitched squeaking from the cargo area. I believe it is coming from the retractable cargo cover. I have tried spraying silicone lubricant and it helps but the squeak soon returns. I even asked the dealer to look at it and they put some felt where the retractable cover stops but that did not solve the problem.

Has anyone solved this problem? It is worse in cold weather.
