Spindle.....what is that???
Went to the dealer today to get aligment done and was told that they are unable to do the aligment properly because a posibly bent spindle...what tha hell is a spindle? The only thing I was told is that the price is around $700.00 What you guys think?

It is a short axel that the whell bearing rotates upon. Basically a piece of machined steel that is stepped down several time to provide a shoulder for the bearing race.
It would take a pretty good hit to bend one but I suppose it is possible. I have no idea as to the part value. Basically have to dismantle the wheel, rotor, and bearings. The thing could be difficult to get off. I would get a second opinion. Not a common diagnosis

Thanks guys, I see is a heck of a job replace that...I thinck I'm staying like that for a while to see what happen. Dealer said the aligment was 80% good, don't know what that means but now the car drives straight and no drifting to the right...time is going to tell
