Question E500 Won't Crank after Transmission Gasket Replaced

Hello guys,

I dont know if anyone has experienced this before. But My 2003 E500 will not crank or even turn-over after my the transmission gasket and mount was changed. The car was running great before.

As soon as we changed the tranny gasket and mount and tried to crank the car, nothing happens.

Please help on this..

Thanks.

I'm assuming you mean the gasket between the tranny and the engine.

That symptom would indicate that the gear selector is somehow misaligned, because the car will only start in Park or Neutral. Did you disconnect it when changing the mount/gasket?
