Having issues with CD player

Exclamation Having issues with CD player
Hi guys,

Im having an issue with my CD player. It can be playing a CD then just stop and then it won't play until way later. Im also having trouble with the CD player even playing a CD period or recognizing. I know I am using the right type of CD's and I have cleaned the CD player with a cleaner disc.

Any help would be much appreciated!!! 2003 Mercedes E500
